Tax Abatement Toolkit

This project was launched in the fall of 2020 as a priority project through early exploration with the Mercer County Board’s strategic planning process. Visit MerCo is the entity for marketing and tourism in Mercer County.

The Alliance led the initial launching, continues providing strategic direction, and established a short-term strategic plan of priorities. Throughout the first three years of operation, the Alliance helped lead different projects for Visit MerCo including:

• Ride 17 Music Festival

• Experience MC travel guide magazine

• County-wide adult softball league

• Keithsburg Kayak Launch

The Alliance and Visit MerCo continue to work in a collaborative nature - expanding human capacity and resources.
